- Tickets exchangeable and refundable free of charge: Does your schedule change? So does your ticket. Change it free of charge up to 30 minutes after your train's departure at no extra cost.
- Guaranteed exchange : Even if the train you want is fully booked, you are guaranteed to be able to exchange your ticket (without being guaranteed a seat). Would you like to change your timetable to that of an OUIGO train? Make your change directly via the TGV INOUI PRO application.
- A fixed price: For perfect predictability, the OPTIMUM fare guarantees a constant price, whether you book two months in advance or the day before your departure.

It is based on the essentials of the TGV INOUI premium service (total ticket flexibility, a quiet, dedicated area, access to the Le Club TGV INOUI Grand Voyageur Lounge) and complements them with markers of excellence: a dedicated host, quality catering served at the seat, dedicated and reinforced Customer Service.
Are you eligible for the OPTIMUM class?
You have access to all OPTIMUM services if you travel with an OPTIMUM fare on many TGV INOUI destinations in France and to/from Luxembourg and Freiburg im Breisgau.
The Carte liberté allows you to benefit from a reduced price on the OPTIMUM Class. Certain negotiated and discounted 1st class fares also give access to OPTIMUM services at a reduced price.
Discover the Flex Première tariff
The Flex Première fare, which complements the OPTIMUM fare, allows you to benefit from free flexibility, even after your train has departed, and to take advantage of TGV INOUI services on trains not offering the OPTIMUM class.
Planning a business trip to Europe?
There is also a specific flexible First Fare for TGV INOUI destinations, as well as for DB-SNCF Voyageurs ICE trains in cooperation, and for business trips to Switzerland, TGV Lyria offers a First Signature Fare.
The OPTIMUM Class is available to all customers holding an OPTIMUM, Liberté OPTIMUM or discounted OPTIMUM fare, subject to availability, from Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays and Christmas and summer holidays (6 weeks in July and August, determined annually), on board TGV INOUI trains in France and to/from Luxembourg and Freiburg im Breisgau.
- Any customer holding an OPTIMUM ticket and travelling at this fare has access to :
- a dedicated area on board TGV INOUI trains.
- the Club TGV INOUI Grand Voyageur lounges, on the days and during the opening hours of the lounge, at Bordeaux St-Jean, Lille Flandres, Lyon Part-Dieu, Marseille Saint-Charles, Nantes, Paris Est, Paris Gare de Lyon, Paris Montparnasse, Paris Nord, Rennes and Strasbourg stations.
- an enhanced range of services and entertainment content on the Portail TGV INOUI. This non-refundable offer is available on French territory and on TGV INOUI to Freiburg im Breisgau and to Luxembourg. It is available by connecting to the SNCF_WIFI_INOUI network, by entering your identification with My SNCF Identifier or your ticket reservation number. To find out more, consult the general conditions of use of the Portail TGV INOUI, available on board by connecting to the Wifi.
- a dedicated Customer Service accessible from the TGV INOUI BOT, enabling you to contact a dedicated advisor from Monday to Sunday between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm by telephone or online chat, after identifying yourself with My SNCF Identifier or after providing the reservation number for an OPTIMUM fare ticket.
- to a ticket exchange facility, on the day of departure, for a full train, provided that the exchange is made on the day of departure, on the same journey. This exchange on a full train is possible without any guarantee of a seat and within the limit of the maximum number of standing places available. Passengers may be refused an exchange on a full train, particularly in the event of overcrowding endangering passenger safety.
With the Carte liberté, benefit from a 45% reduction on the Flex Première 1st class or on the OPTIMUM and OPTIMUM PLUS classes, calculated on the Flex Première 1st class fare, excluding the extra cost of the OPTIMUM and OPTIMUM PLUS fares.
Guaranteed Exchange: The Guaranteed Exchange service is valid for any exchange made on the day of departure. The exchange is possible for another train of the same day, on the same route as the initial journey. It is possible to obtain a ticket on full trains, but with no guarantee of a seat and subject to the maximum number of standing places available. Passengers may be refused a Guaranteed Exchange on a full train, in particular in the event of overcrowding endangering passenger safety. From 30 minutes before the departure of the original train, the number of exchanges is limited to 1 per customer. Exchanges free of charge up to 30 minutes after departure. Tickets are neither exchangeable nor refundable from 30 minutes after departure.
Passengers with an OPTIMUM ticket can exchange their ticket on OUIGO trains free of charge on the day of departure and on the same route using the TGV INOUI PRO application.
Once the ticket has been exchanged for an OUIGO train, the passenger is subject to the OUIGO General Terms and Conditions of Sale. OUIGO tickets are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.
Espace Calme et Dédié: Area accessible to any holder of an OPTIMUM ticket, or similar OPTIMUM ticket: Liberté OPTIMUM, Tarifs négociés ou remisés OPTIMUM.
TGV INOUI Exhibition: Le Club TGV INOUI Grand Voyageur Lounges are accessible to customers with a ticket of the day and travelling on an OPTIMUM, OPTIMUM PLUS, Flex Première, Liberté 1re, Liberté OPTIMUM, Liberté OPTIMUM PLUS, negotiated or discounted 1st, OPTIMUM or OPTIMUM PLUS fare, PASS 1ère or MAX PRO 1ère, as well as for customers with a day ticket and a Grand Voyageur Le Club loyalty card, every day from Monday to Sunday, according to the Salon's opening hours, at the following stations: Bordeaux Saint-Jean, Lille Flandres, Lyon Part-Dieu, Marseille Saint-Charles, Nantes, Paris Est, Paris Gare de Lyon, Paris Montparnasse, Paris Nord, Rennes, Strasbourg.
Enriched TGV INOUI Portail: The OPTIMUM space on the TGV INOUI Portail is a non-refundable offer available on French territory and on TGV INOUI to Freiburg im Breisgau and to Luxembourg. It is available by connecting to the SNCF_WIFI_INOUI network, entering your identification with Mon Identifiant SNCF or your ticket reservation number. To find out more, consult the general conditions of use of the Portail TGV INOUI, available on board by connecting to the Wifi.
OPTIMUM Dedicated Customer Service: Service available to any holder of an OPTIMUM ticket, or similar OPTIMUM ticket: Liberté OPTIMUM, Tarifs négociés ou remisés OPTIMUM.
The Dedicated Customer Service is accessible from the TGV INOUI BOT and allows you to contact a dedicated advisor from Monday to Sunday (from 8:00 to 20:00 for OPTIMUM customers) by telephone or by online chat, after identification with My SNCF Identifier and identification of a ticket at the OPTIMUM fare or after providing the reservation number of a ticket at the OPTIMUM fare.
