Rates for accompanying PRMs

    Are you accompanying a person with reduced mobility (PRM), who has been discharged from the army or who has a war pension when travelling on TGV INOUI, TER or INTERCITÉS? You too can benefit.

    People with reduced mobility

    Are you travelling with a disabled person holding a card marked "Invalidité" (disabled) or a CMI Invalidité card (Carte Mobilité Inclusion)? Benefit from a reduced fare.

    Your ticket is free1 if your card says:

    • "needs assistance" or "needs blindness assistance
    • "third person", "blindness" and/or "green star".

    Your ticket is 50% off the full fare if your disability card :

    • has no mention of
    • or has one of the following indications: "Difficult standing position" and/or "white cane".

    Discharged and war pensioner

    Are you travelling with a person who has been discharged from the army or a war pensioner? You can also take advantage of the following benefits:

    • 75% off the full fare if their disability card has two red bars
    • free1 ticket if their disability card has two blue bars (100% disability)

    Following a serious road accident, my mother is disabled and has had a disability card for two years. Thanks to SNCF benefits, I can travel with her at a lower cost when she needs to go to a spa or nursing home, or on holiday with friends.

    ¹ Excluding cost of reservation

    • The cardholder and accompanying person must travel together, on the same route and in the same class.
    • Two people holding disability cards may not accompany each other. Nor can a child under the age of 12 be considered as an accompanying person.
    • For trains with compulsory reservation, the free travel granted to the accompanying person does not apply to the amount of the reservation.
