2/ The Carte Avantage fare on the Liberté card entitles the holder and accompanying adult over the age of 12 to a 30% discount:

• on one-way journeys every day if the holder is travelling with a toddler (under 4 years old) or a child (4 to 11 years old inclusive)
• on one-way journeys on Saturdays or Sundays
• on return journeys including at least the night of Friday, Saturday or Sunday. The maximum period between outward and return journeys is 61 days and cannot be extended in the event of an exchange.

If the benefit of the Avantage fare is conditional on travelling with a child or toddler, the latter must be present and in possession of a valid ticket (accompanying child ticket or toddler fare) when checked on board the train. An accompanying person (adult or child) who has benefited from a reduction associated with the Carte Avantage fare must travel with the holder of the corresponding Carte Liberté.

Offer reserved for holders of the Carte Liberté with the Avantage fare, and one accompanying adult over the age of 12 if the ticket is purchased at the same time as the holder's Carte Liberté ticket. Discount calculated, excluding additional paid services, on the PREM'S, 2nd, 1st and Full Fare 2nd and 1st fares for trains with compulsory reservation (TGV INOUI and INTERCITÉS, excluding OUIGO) and on the "Normal" fare for INTERCITÉS trains without compulsory reservation for tickets valid for 7 days. Guaranteed maximum price for the cardholder and one accompanying adult with the Avantage fare, per journey and based on the average time taken on a journey without connections. 49 incl. VAT: maximum guaranteed price for a ticket for a journey of less than 1.5 hours, €69 incl. VAT: maximum guaranteed price for a ticket for a journey of less than 3 hours, €89 incl. VAT: maximum guaranteed price for a ticket for a journey of more than 3 hours in France in second class on a journey without connections. Fixed price until train departure. Prices valid until 31/08/2024.

3/ The Carte Avantage fare on the Liberté card offers a 60% reduction for accompanying children. Offer reserved for up to 3 accompanying children aged 4 to 11 inclusive if the ticket is purchased at the same time as the Carte Avantage holder's ticket.

Discount calculated, excluding additional paid services, on the PREM'S, 2nd, 1st and Full Fare 2nd and 1st fares for trains with compulsory reservation (TGV INOUI and INTERCITÉS, excluding OUIGO), or on the "Normal" fare for INTERCITÉS trains without compulsory reservation for tickets valid for 7 days. Fixed and unique fare corresponding to a reduction calculated, excluding additional paid services, on the Flex Première fare for TGV INOUI trains to Luxembourg, Spain, Freiburg im Breisgau, Brussels, on the Liberté PRIMA fare for TGV INOUI trains to Italy, and on the Full Flex fare for TGV INOUI and ICE trains to Germany of DB SNCF Voyageurs in cooperation.

On TGV LYRIA trains to and from Switzerland, a 40% reduction in Première Signature class calculated on the Première Signature fare of the day, a 40% reduction in Première class calculated on the Première Flex fare of the day and offered only when Première Signature class is no longer available, and a 50% reduction in Standard class calculated on the Standard Flex fare of the day excluding additional paid services.

Reduction calculated for the Avantage fare, excluding additional services for which a charge is made, on the 2nd or 1st fare for TGV INOUI trains to Luxembourg, Spain, Freiburg im Breisgau, Brussels and on DB SNCF Voyageurs TGV INOUI and ICE trains in cooperation to Germany, on the seconda or prima fare for TGV INOUI trains to Italy, and on the Standard or Première fare for TGV Lyria trains.

6/ Depreciation recorded on 10 TGV INOUI destinations departing from Paris (Nantes, Rennes, Bordeaux, Strasbourg, Lille, Lyon, Grenoble, Marseille, Aix-en-Provence TGV and Avignon TGV), with 50% of journeys in 2nd class and 50% in OPTIMUM or 1st class.
Amortisation calculated on the basis of the difference between the Liberté 2de fare and the Pro 2de fare (fare only available with an FCE code) and the difference between the Liberté 1ère or Liberté OPTIMUM fare and the Flex Première or OPTIMUM fare over 6 cumulative journeys. 9/ Ticket refundable free of charge up to 30 minutes after departure. From 30 minutes before departure, only 1 exchange possible. Tickets exchanged from 30 minutes before departure are non-refundable. Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after 30 minutes after departure.

10/ The Guaranteed Exchange service is valid for all exchanges made on the day of departure. The exchange is possible for another train of the same day, on the same route as the initial journey. It is possible to obtain a ticket on full trains, but without a guarantee of a seat and within the limit of the maximum number of standing places available.

For holders of an OPTIMUM PLUS fare, the Catering service is no longer guaranteed after the exchange. Passengers may be refused a Guaranteed Exchange on a full train, in particular in the event of overcrowding endangering passenger safety. From 30 minutes before the departure of the original train, the number of exchanges is limited to 1 per customer. Exchanges free of charge up to 30 minutes after departure. Tickets are neither exchangeable nor refundable from 30 minutes after departure.

Passengers with an OPTIMUM or OPTIMUM PLUS ticket can exchange their ticket free of charge on OUIGO trains on the day of departure and on the same route using the TGV INOUI PRO application. Once the ticket has been exchanged for an OUIGO train, the passenger is subject to the OUIGO General Terms and Conditions of Sale. The OUIGO ticket is non-exchangeable and non-refundable.

Holders of a Liberté OPTIMUM fare ticket benefit from a Dedicated Quiet Area and a Dedicated Customer Service accessible from the TGV INOUI BOT (bot.tgvinoui.sncf, OPTIMUM section), enabling them to contact a dedicated advisor from Monday to Sunday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm by telephone or online chat, after identifying themselves with My SNCF Identifier or providing the reservation number of an OPTIMUM fare ticket.
Holders of a Liberté OPTIMUM PLUS fare ticket have extended access to this Dedicated Customer Service from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm after identifying themselves with My SNCF Identifier or after providing the reservation number of an OPTIMUM PLUS fare ticket.
Holders of a Liberté OPTIMUM PLUS fare ticket also benefit from a free catering offer, adapted to the time of day (depending on the train departure time: breakfast until 8.45am, sweet or savoury snack from 8.45am to 10.50am and from 1.45pm to 6.45pm, lunch from 10.50am to 1.45pm and dinner from 6.45pm), served at the seat only in the OPTIMUM PLUS area. The catering service is not provided in the event of an exchange on a full train without a seat allocated or on an OUIGO train as part of the exchange facility on the day of departure.

12/ EXCHANGE AND REFUND OF AN ADVANTAGE FARE TICKET

Exchange and refund service offered free of charge up to and including 7 days before departure.

From 6 days before departure, a deduction of €19 per person and per journey will be applied on TGV INOUI and 40% of the ticket price with a maximum deduction of €15 on INTERCITÉS with compulsory reservation.

30 min before departure and until departure, exchange possible (1 maximum) with the same deduction as above. Tickets exchanged during this period are non-refundable. The deduction is only applied once, for journeys including one or more connections. Tickets are non-exchangeable and non-refundable after the departure of the train, unless they have been made available prior to departure.

SPECIFIC CONDITIONS FOR EXCHANGING OR CANCELLING RETURN TICKETS AT THE CARTE AVANTAGE ADULTE FARE

Initial booking eligible for the Carte Avantage Adulte discount: if the cancellation or exchange of one of the two journeys results in the loss of the conditions for the Carte Avantage Adulte discount, the exchanged ticket will be recharged at the fare on the day of exchange. The unchanged ticket will be re-priced at the same fare as the original ticket purchase.

Initial booking not eligible for the Carte Avantage Adulte discount: if the exchange of a return ticket makes the holder eligible for the Carte Avantage Adulte discount; the exchanged ticket (outward or return) then benefits from the Avantage discount. The unchanged ticket does not benefit from the Avantage discount.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL FOLLOWING THE PURCHASE OF A CARTE LIBERTÉ

The right of withdrawal set out in articles L.221-18 to L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, which allows customers to change their mind within 14 days of the date of purchase of the card if they have not travelled with a discount offered by the Carte liberté, applies. Therefore, once the 14-day period has elapsed after purchase, the right of withdrawal is no longer valid and the card is no longer refundable, even if the start date of validity has not passed.
