    Tickets for INTERCITÉS night services can be purchased online, from a self-service terminal, at stations or in shops*.

    Travel in First Class Sleeper, Second Class Sleeper or Seat

    Couchette 1ère classe - INTERCITÉS

    First class couchette

    The cabins have four comfortable berths: 2 lower and 2 upper, which you can request when you make your booking.

    Each berth is equipped with a pillow, a duvet, a travel kit (including a refreshing wipe, tissues, a toothpaste tablet, a night mask and ear plugs) and a bottle of water.

    Couchette 2de classe - INTERCITÉS

    Second class couchette

    The cabins are organised into six comfortable berths: 2 lower, 2 middle and 2 upper, which you can request when you make your booking.

    Each berth is equipped with a pillow, a duvet, a travel kit (including a refreshing wipe, tissues, a toothpaste tablet, a night mask and ear plugs) and a bottle of water.

    Second class seating

    Travel in a car with insulated window seats or side-by-side duo seats.

    The seats have a footrest and an adjustable headrest. Personal nightlights allow you to read, work and rest while respecting the peace and quiet of other passengers.

    Espace femme - INTERCITÉS

    Space reserved for women

    Ideal for a trip with complete peace of mind1, this free service can be accessed by ticking "women-only space" when booking your berth. These compartments are reserved exclusively for women (or women with children under 12) and are located in the carriage closest to the purser's area.

    Private space

    Enjoy a cocoon of peace and quiet on board INTERCITÉS at night. Whether you're travelling with your family or on business, our private areas offer you comfort, privacy and peace of mind. A soothing environment in which to work, relax or simply sleep, out of sight.

    Services for your comfort on board

    • Animals on board

      Pets are allowed in the carriage with seats. This service is subject to a charge and must be booked at the same time as your train ticket. They are not allowed in couchettes but are permitted in private areas (free service).

    • Transporting your bike

      You can take your unfolded, undismantled bike with you. Access to this area is very limited and must be booked at the same time as your train ticket (chargeable service).

      You can pre-order your dinner or breakfast online. OurNos Territoires Gourmands catering offer features local, quality products.

    • Availability of on-board staff

      The on-board attendant ensures the cleanliness of the train throughout the journey. You can ask the on-board staff for a personalised wake-up call.

    Station showers

    Shower areas are available free of charge on arrival at Paris-Austerlitz and Toulouse-Matabiau stations for customers travelling in a First Class sleeper2.

    Until Thursday 30 April 2026 inclusive, the shower area at Paris Austerlitz will be open to our 1st class customers every day from 5pm to 8.30pm.

    Access our Shower Service at Paris-Austerlitz and Toulouse-Matabiau stations. In the morning, what could be nicer than a good shower?

    To get your day off to a good start, there are 6 individual, high-comfort, PRM-accessible 7 m2 shower areas at Paris-Austerlitz station, and 4 at Toulouse-Matabiau station.

    To access them, simply present your 1st class couchette ticket at reception. This free service is included in the price of your INTERCITÉS ticket for all our night trains.

    Which night train lines are concerned?

    Gare de Paris-Austerlitz, our night services departing from the provinces all terminate at Paris-Austerlitz, all lines benefit from the service on arrival.

    Gare de Toulouse-Matabiau, the Paris - Toulouse line which benefits from the Shower Service.

    When you get off your train at Paris-Austerlitz

    • Where can you find us?
      • Our Shower Service is located next to the baggage lockers at Paris-Austerlitz, a few metres from the stop on tracks 4 and 5.
    • What is it?
      • It consists of a shared waiting area with sofas, armchairs, chairs, high tables and electrical sockets.
    • When is it available?
      • Before1 July and after 31 August:
        • 6.15am to 9.50am (Monday to Thursday) ;
        • 6.15am to 10.35am (Friday);
        • 6.20am to 9.30am (weekends).
      • From1July to 31 August: daily from 6.40am to 9.25am.

    Please note: Until Thursday 30 April 2026 inclusive, the Paris Austerlitz shower area will be open for our First Class customers every day from 5pm to 8.30pm.

    When you get off your train at Toulouse-Matabiau

    • Where are you?
      • Our Shower Service is located in the INTERCITÉS night lounge, hall 1 (arrival), near the service area, a few metres from the taxi rank.
    • What is the service?
      • It consists of a shared waiting area with comfortable armchairs and electrical sockets. A host or hostess will welcome you,
    • When is it open?
      • Saturday to Monday from 7.15am to 9.15am;
      • Tuesday to Friday from 6.45am to 8.45am.

    3/ This service only transports luggage to and from mainland France, apart from the islands of Ré, Noirmoutier and Oléron, which are accessible by road.
