INTERCITÉS punctuality guarantee

Since March 2024, you have been compensated in the event of irregularity on the Paris - Clermont-Ferrand and Paris - Limoges - Toulouse lines with the INTERCITÉS Punctuality Guarantee.

INTERCITÉS does its utmost to ensure the regularity of its trains and to offer you the best possible service. Despite its best efforts, this regularity may occasionally be affected in the event of disruption.

In such cases, INTERCITÉS will provide compensation for package customers travelling on the lines concerned.

Passengers with a Classic Line Monthly Pass.

The INTERCITÉS Punctuality Guarantee applies to the Paris - Clermont-Ferrand and Paris - Limoges - Toulouse (except Paris - Les Aubrais) daytime lines if, during the previous month, they experienced poor traffic conditions characterised by a 5-minute regularity rate of less than 75% and/or a 60-minute regularity rate of less than 95%.

You will be offered compensation of 20% of your monthly payment if you had an active pass during the month and on the line concerned by the scheme.

If you are eligible for the INTERCITÉS Punctuality Guarantee, you will be contacted by e-mail by the SNCF Voyageurs Customer Relations teams. You will need to reply and attach your bank details in order to be reimbursed by bank transfer. The bank account will be credited within 3 weeks with the amount corresponding to 20% of the monthly ticket price.

The list of eligible lines is published no later than the 20th of the month following the month in question. This list is updated every month.
