    Processing is carried out using an automated image analysis system based on on-board video protection cameras. The experiment is being carried out on a TER train operating in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.

    Your data is used to measure the density and flow of passengers on the trains, and to analyze the type of use (journeys with bicycles, strollers, etc.) in order to improve the comfort and safety of the transport service.

    The use of your data is based on the legitimate interest of SNCF Voyageurs TER management to improve the quality and safety of the transport service.

    The personal data used for processing are :

    • Images from on-board video protection cameras.

    The image analysis system measures the occupancy rate of the train, the flow of passengers entering and leaving the train at each stop, and the type of occupancy (bicycles, strollers, etc.).

    Your data will be kept for thirty (30) days.

    The experiment begins in June 2024 for a period of 3 years.

    The right to object does not apply to this use of images, which falls within the scope of processing for statistical purposes.

    Your data will only be used by authorized SNCF Voyageurs staff in charge of testing and improving the image processing algorithm.

    Your data is hosted in France. It is not transferred outside the European Union.

    The use of your data does not result in any automated decision concerning you.

    The right to object and the right to portability are not applicable in the context of this processing.

    Within the limits and conditions authorized by the regulations in force, you may exercise your right to access, rectify and delete your personal data, your right to limit the use of your personal data and your right to define the directives applicable to the conservation, deletion and communication of such data after your death.
