    Your personal data is used for the purposes of :

    • managing and recovering reports of offences under the Rail Transport Police Act, detecting habitual fraud and intentionally declaring a false address or identity,
    • communication to the public prosecutor for the recovery of increased fixed fines,
    • increasing the reliability of identification data, via interconnection with our customer database and third-party databases, to improve the recovery of fines,
    • production of anonymous statistics.

    The use of your data is based on SNCF Voyageurs' public interest mission to investigate, record and prosecute breaches of the rail transport police under the conditions set out in Article L. 2241-1 of the Transport Code.

    The personal data used for processing is :

    • Your identity details
    • The number and signature of the ticketing officer
    • Your contact details
    • Your payment details
    • Your travel details
    • Complaints data

    Your data will be kept for one year and then archived for the duration of the legal statute of limitations in force.

    To pay online, you will need to state the nature of the offence, your name and your ticket number.

    Your data may be communicated to

    • To authorised agents of SNCF Group companies and service providers (bailiffs, collection companies) responsible for recovering sums due under the transaction mentioned in Article 529-4 of the Code of Criminal Procedure,
    • The authorities responsible for investigating complaints lodged by SNCF Voyageurs,
    • SNCF Voyageurs agents in charge of managing complaints and Mediation,
    • To the Public Prosecutor's Office, in the event of an increased fixed fine,
    • Third party organisations for the purposes of improving the reliability and enriching the data required to collect fines.

    In this respect, the personal data that you declared when the offence was recorded may be communicated to the single legal entity mentioned in article L2241-2-1 of the Transport Code for the purpose of verifying your identity and address.

    Your data is hosted in France. It is not transferred outside the European Union.

    Your data will not be used to make any automated decisions.

    The right to object does not apply to the communication of your personal data to public administrations and social security bodies for the purposes of verifying your identity and address.

    Within the limits and conditions authorised by the regulations in force, you may exercise your right to access, rectify and delete your personal data, your right to limit the use of your personal data and your right to define the directives applicable to the conservation, deletion and communication of your personal data after your death.
