    Focus on our businesses

    The passenger train driver
They are at the heart of sustainable mobility. They drive trains and transport passengers on commercial lines, complying with safety procedures and railway signalling.

Their activities are varied. They are also in contact with various people, providing information to passengers, ensuring that trains are on time, carrying out technical tests and carrying out initial repairs in the event of an incident.

Driving a train isn't just about being at the controls: it's also about taking responsibility and being rigorous to ensure passenger safety. Get into the cab with Léa, a train driver at SNCF Voyageurs Sud Azur.

    The resource manager
He organises and coordinates human and material resources in order to provide customers with the best possible rail service. They are responsible for optimising and using these resources.

    Driver manager
Responsible for a team of 20 to 30 drivers, they monitor the quality of their work on a daily basis and issue authorisations, guaranteeing the reliability and safety of driving operations.

    Resource manager
He coordinates and prioritises their day-to-day activities, optimising the resources needed for rail production (availability of drivers, traction units, train paths, etc.).
