    A major industrial programme

OPTER is a project for the mid-life renovation of 40% of the TER train fleet for the Regions, the organising authorities.

Each renovated train emits 50% lessCO2 than a new train, while consuming 15% less energy. The passenger experience has been rethought, with interiors that are more spacious, connected and accessible. With the aim of renovating up to 730 additional trains by 2031, SNCF Voyageurs is stepping up its ambitious modernisation programme.
